Black Friday - Virtual 2020
The virtual Black Friday:
So, on my way to pick my son up this morning for my weekend with him, I had to stop by Target for baby food. What I found in the parking lot shocked me. Fewer people were there than a normal day. The people that were at Target were leaving with big ticket items. I probably saw 4-5 big screen televisions go out the door in between grabbing baby food, paying for baby food and buying Starbuck’s. I was truly shocked. I honestly thought that many people would be ignoring the pleas to stay in the house and stay safe. Made me happy that our country isn’t just what you see on social media. Well, now I have my chicken-apple, mac-n-cheese, and chicken-rice I needed for Luke. My black Friday shopping is done and was only, so I had enough food for him and not because it was on sale (it wasn’t).
Made me think, I have really gotten a ton of Black Friday sale information from my favorite golf apparel companies. I should try and point all the readers to the right sales if I can be of help. Thus, came the virtual Black Friday piece. Hope you enjoy it and find some things you may need for cheaper than you would have paid otherwise. Oh yea, there will be a couple non-apparel deals here and there as well. Please note that apparently the only time Peter Millar is on sale is their end of season sale. So if you want to give a quarter-zip for Christmas prepare to back up the Brinks Truck for that.

I know they aren’t exactly a golf company, but I wear the Commission shorts (7” and 9” inseam) golfing frequently and they are great! They also have a few golf shirts on sale as well. It is a little pricey, but if it is a brand you shop normally then give it the old looksie.
Bad Birdie
Pretty solid sale here. I love most of their stuff, to begin with, but they have 4 polos on sale for $44.99 then several others that are 20% off or $59.99. Quarter-Zips are $25 off (disclaimer: I own 0 of them so I don’t know what they are like to make a suggestion here). The hats are $10 off and I like a few of the styles there. Finally, they threw out some merch deals. $15 off their golf towels (they look very sweet) and $10 off their t-shirts. I would give it a look. I really like their stuff and if you don’t own any, the only time you will find it cheaper is if they run another sample sale. @BadBirdie, please run another sample sale, was the second-best day of my life behind my son being born 😉.

William Murray is short and sweet. Everything is 30% off. If you haven’t shopped with them before, give them a shot. They came out with a pair of golf shorts that I am going to call a hybrid. They can work as both a swimsuit and golf shorts. These shorts are honestly nothing short of phenomenal. Also, if you check out the November sale, you could find a thing or two already marked down and get another 30% off. I have very little negative to say about William Murray Golf. I have had the William Murray logo start coming off 1 of the shirts, but it is probably 3 years old and has been worn A LOT. I can live with that.

Again, simple sale. The entire site is 20% off. The tough thing is, you may buy something today and they are going to release something even cooler tomorrow. No worries though, you will still love the item you got. Also, I cannot stress enough that if you don’t like the masks you have to wear for the foreseeable future Rhoback has AMAZING facemasks for both adults and kids. Some of the masks even have a charitable donation behind them. Seriously, awesome company if you haven’t shopped with them yet. As I mentioned in my first review, if you are just getting a polo then use the 2nd link. It actually gets you more than 20% off the shirt.

This company is new to me, but Grant (I ain’t met a small golf glove company I don’t love) Welmers swears by them. 20% off the entire site. In addition to this, they have some gift packs set up with either 3 gloves or 3 gloves, tees, a ball marker and a hat. Pretty cool concept if you ask me. Don’t tell my brother, but this is what he’s getting for Christmas. A source, that I cannot name (if I did his wife may actually leave him on the side of the road for making another golf apparel purchase) swear by their t-shirts. He says they are awesome.

I am a guy that does not hit the ball straight off the tee to save my life. I will do everything in my power to change that this winter, but in the meantime, I buy my balls gently used. It is just so much cheaper when you lose 3-6 in 18 holes. Not to mention, the number of trees I hit on a hole to hole basis probably ruins another 2-3 balls a round for me.
