Bombas Away!
If I haven’t mentioned it already, I love the show Shark Tank. I have been watching it in all my spare time since the first COVID lockdown went into place. I enjoy the idea of entrepreneurship, I enjoy the people on the show, I love the trash talking between sharks, I enjoy when an entrepreneur gives Mr. Wonderful a hard time(I realize he does bring so much value to these companies, but some of his offers just seem to take complete advantage of the company), I love several of the businesses that have gotten deals, I love some of the businesses that haven’t gotten deals, and most of all, I love when an entrepreneur that has risked it all gets their dream made. While watching Shark Tank, I have come across a few golf companies. Another company that I came across is not technically a golf company. They are a sock company with a superb story behind them and an even better product. I’d like to introduce you to Bombas (if you don’t already know of them).
Bombas was on Season 6 Episode 1 of Shark Tank and the way they do business just speaks to me. They make a phenomenal product while having a great mission. For every pair of socks purchased they donate a pair to the homeless. It has expanded to other products because they make more than just socks now. They have donated over 40 million items to the homeless. If you can’t get on board with that alone, then there may be no convincing you. On top of Bombas great mission, they make a better sock than ANY other sock I have owned. They have ankle socks that are perfect for the golf course. My feet don’t sweat in them, they have numerous fun color options, and they aren’t the dreaded bulky sock that makes it tough to fit in the golf shoe. I would put this brand up against any other sock. One thing that sticks out over all other socks I have bought is there isn’t a toe seam like most socks have.
For anyone wanting to make a serious upgrade in your sock game, this is the route I would go:
First: Buy one of the packs of socks as opposed to an individual pair.
At a minimum, they are marked down 5% from the normal price right now.
Next: Use this link:

This will get you 25% off your entire order
Thirdly: If you have an American Express Credit Card, check to see if Bombas is one of the offers.
I had the offer on my Delta Amex Reserve and a buddy had the offer on the American Express Gold. I also have the American Express Gold but did not have that same offer. I will list the referrals for both cards, but this is the ultimate low-pressure sell. Only apply if you will truly get the benefit of paying an annual fee. They do have some great benefits for both cards but do your due diligence before applying. I travel for work for my day job, so I have gotten the full value from both cards.

The offer for Bombas was a 15% statement credit up to $10
So, let’s say you went with a 4-pack of ankle socks:
They are $45.60 on the site currently; you would then get an additional 25% off with the above Bombas link listed. That gets your total before taxes down to $34.20. If you happen to have an American Express card with the Bombas offer you get a 15% statement credit. You now have gotten four pairs of the best socks on the market for $29.07 ($7.27/pair).
To give a comparison of some socks on the market that might be in the same ballpark as Bombas I looked up what they sell a multipack for. Lululemon is selling a 3-pack for $48 ($16/pair) and has no deals on ankle socks currently. The Stance athletic 3 pack is selling for $39.99 ($13.33/pair). Do yourself a favor and pick up some Bombas as soon as you can. You will not regret it.
PS. Jeffy-Jeff please throw away your 1992 Hanes socks and grab some good stuff. If you don’t, Vhelm might switch it to the Monthly Watershack.
